March experiment

We started this project ready for adventure! A ”Crazy STEM adventure!”. And our first big adventure was to do an experiment.
Our experiment is related to the study of liquids.
We needed a glass and 3 different liquids: water, oil and sanitary alcohol.

Step 1: We added water. We dyed water in red using food coloring.

Step 2: We added oil.

Step 3: We added sanitary alcohol.

Conclusion: The 3 liquids separated because they have different densities.

We hope you found our experiment interesting. We especially liked it due to the fact that the 3 liquids had the colors of the Romanian flag.
